Steph’s Foot is…. FIXED!
And as is tradition, it’s pouring rain on our rest day here in Riviere Du Loup, Quebec! Could be worse though. We could be busting our hump in the rain with another double marathon to complete. But we are lucky to have met another amazing “Aplique Kineis” Chiropractor with the name, Chantelle. She worked on Steph’s fallen arch and the rest of her for almost an hour and did some adjustments, which seems (at first feel) like they will hold this time. Everyone, cross your fingers, toes and anything else you can think of!
I received a pretty incredible tune up as well, which helped after feeling the last couple of weeks up’ed mileage while Steph was running less.
So here we, Steph, Vanessa and me, sit in a café’ with hot steamy coffee’s and lap tops open times three, each with our own tasks to complete on this most wet of Fall Saturday’s.
Vanessa is busy researching over-seas volunteer opportunities, for she is departing the tour in just over 4 weeks time. Steph is intensely focused on doing work for our Legacy of Action. And me, I’m two finger typing (like only I do best!) on the happenings of the last few days of this tour to inspire Action for our one and only Planet.
I usually finish with this but decided to mix it up and ask if, YOU (yes YOU, the amazing person reading this) have taken the Action Challenge yet. And if the answer is “not quite yet”, then we ask you to go to www.runforoneplanet.com and take the Action Challenge and commit to 1 new step for a healthier Earth.
And if you HAVE taken the Action Challenge (congratulations and thank YOU big time), you are directly responsible for helping us reach our goal of 1 million actions by time we run back to Vancouver and have covered 18,000km’s in the process.
Now, the 3rd thing I’d like to ask and this is IF, you’ve already done the above. We humbly (and on behalf of our incredible Earth) ask you to share the Action Challenge with ALL your family, friends, non-friends, and anybody else you feel would appreciate being directly responsible for helping us reach our goal of 1 million new actions.
In the time it would take for us to complete our double marathon, you could be responsible for helping us change the world, people’s thinking about how they can make a difference as well as, feel good about spending time on the computer sending emails to peopleJ
YOU are the reason we are out here. In our lifetime, WE can make the changes and BE the changes we want to see in others (to borrow from Mr. Ghandi) and ultimately, in our world.
On a rainy rest (non run day) Saturday in Quebec from my co-partner in Run for One Planet crime Steph, our amazing road manger V and from me, thanks for reading and for caring.
