“What can I say about Matt Hill and Steph Tait, except that they are 2 of the most energetic and inspiring people I have had the pleasure of meeting in my travels as a speaker. Their enthusiasm is beyond infectious and would ignite a spark in any crowd they face. Their dedication to the Run For One Planet cause is truly amazing; what a journey they took and what stories they have to share! And now, to have taken the life lessons they learned through their gruelling trip and turn it into an inspiring message for all is absolutely fantastic. They personify what good speakers should be: people who live their message and truly “walk the talk” (or in their case...run).”

"I would not hesitate for one second to recommend Stephanie Tait and Matt Hill from Run for One Planet. Their presentation at our Board Leadership Camp was awesome! They cover key environmental issues, provide a sound reminder to students about everyday wasteful habits and invite them to begin making a difference in their everyday life.
The story of their Journey across North America is a great leadership story, filled with lessons of determination, overcoming obstacles and organization. Their message and their obvious lead by example attitude had a huge impact on our student body as a whole. They are extraordinary people with a great message."

"I give a heroic "thumbs up" and endorsement for Matt & Steph and their Run for One Planet presentation they delivered in stunning fashion at our BC Student Leadership Conference… the students were engaged in an entertaining, informative, inspiring, and practical manner that made a lasting impact on each delegate… Matt & Steph are the type of people – the type of every day Canadian heroes - who our students need to learn about and hear from, in hopes of inspiring more to follow in their great foot steps."

"I am driving from Winnipeg to Orillia, it's poring rain and I see a man running in front of a cool RV that says "Run For One Planet." I pull over and meet Matt. I am instantly inspired by his commitment & energy as it pours rain. I then go to the RV and meet Steph & Vanessa. Feeling lifted, I ask, "I know we’re far away, but can you run into our camp when your close and talk to campers [www.ylcc.com]. Steph did not hesitate. Sure enough, they ran into our leadership camp and spoke to 100 young leaders about making positive change to save our planet. Camp was 2 months long and it was without a doubt the most powerful part of my entire summer. They took the kids to a new place and shared lessons that will last a lifetime. AMAZING. AMAZING, simply AMAZING."

"Matt and Steph are our weekly hit of adrenalin!! We've been interviewing them each Friday morning since they started stretching the big rubber band between Vancouver and the Atlantic. We are always amazed at their physical strengths and the amount of running they are churning out but it's the sweet stories of charming Canadians and the difference that is being made in small towns, schools and big smoking cities along the way that makes us most proud.
Love you and support you always."

"I wanted to let you know how much, Tara, Peter and I, as well as our QM/FM audience, love getting our weekly Update from Matt and Steph every Friday at 8:15. I love hearing about where they are on that particular day, all the interesting events they have attended, and the interesting people they have met along the Marathon…. They are so awe inspiring for every one of our listeners, A Marathon a Day. We are all privileged having Matt and Steph in our lives!"

"We loved having Matt & Steph visit us at Lincoln. Please let them know that after their visit yet another person was inspired to begin a school-wide recycling project. Thanks to one dedicated parent and many willing teachers and students we now recycle (over 700) small plastic cereal bowls every morning. Unfortunately our district is not equipped for plastic recycling, so this parent takes them to her business once a week to recycle them on our behalf. I am very proud of my school for making these commitment to a greener planet."

"Thank you for the note, but the thanks have to all come from our end! What a fabulous presentation and cause! We continue to reap the rewards, in terms of goal tracking and informal discussions with our students. Keep up the terrific work!"

"My family and I were so please to have welcomed the team. What an amazing event and opportunity. At first I didn't know if I had the time to organize it since it coincided with the beginning of school. I thought, a couple seconds and said to myself I can't not do it! It is absolutely phenomenal what Matt, Stephanie and the whole team are doing. They have to be so unselfish to give so much of their time, effort and to not get paid. They really have to believe in this project. That is what makes True Heroes! I was so happy to have had them stay for supper. Too bad the chicken was over cooked! (Sorry!) Had we had room we would have loved to have had them stay in a nice and comfy bed. I was telling my wife that if it was summer I would have like to have run o few legs of the journey with them. What they are doing is so inspiring.
People run because it makes them feel good, keeps the heart in excellent condition, they like it for the challenge... but running for the Planet takes it one step further. They are actually running for a better life for everyone. If we take care of the Planet we are essentially taking care of us. 1R4P is 1R4U2!
On behalf of the Planet, Merci beaucoup and Thank You very much!"

"I just wanted to say thanks again for managing to fit us into your tour schedule....it was pretty much last-minute, but couldn't have come at a better time as we try to get our eco-club in gear for next year. Some of the comments I heard from students were:
Thanks again....wish you all the best of luck!!"
