Rest in Revelstoke
After a huge pull of 6 marathons back to back over the last 3 days, we’re ready for a break! Phew what a pull through to the Rockies… and we’re still not through the other side. Roger’s Pass, here we come!
Our bodies are holding up well to the hilly terrain (with much support from the Licious Twins) and we’ve worked out a great routine of 10K at a time, for a total of four 10K pulls each per day. The best thing about this is while one of us is finishing up our last pull, the other starts their next go, allowing us to essentially double up our running pace and decrease our time. We can now get most double marathon days done within 10 hours.
We’re getting into a rhythm. We’ll have everything worked out by the time we hit Vancouver…
As we get into the groove of each step hitting the pavement in some of the most breathtaking scenery we’ve ever run through, we realize that both running and living greener, live side by side. As Belinda Shelton said most aptly, “Your actions will change the world, one step, one person, one family, one group, one business, one corporation at a time.” Thanks Belinda (and for letting us have your sis for awhile).
So where do YOU fit in?
TAKE ACTION.
We’re asking YOU to take one new action for our Planet. It’s so easy. Just pick one from our top ten list of action steps. And do that action really well.
Let you doing that one action really well be the inspiration to others to take one new action in their own life.
Your actions count. Count them here: http://runforoneplanet.com/environmentalaction.aspx.
As of right now, we’re at 393 new actions for Earth. Let’s pump those numbers up kids, and help us reach 1 Million!
Have a great long weekend~
Love,
Matt + Steph
