Trees are the "lungs of the earth". For as long as they live, they "inhale" carbon dioxide out of the air, and "exhale" oxygen. On average, every tree absorbs 10 – 15 tons of carbon dioxide over its lifetime.

Healthy eco-systems, filled with trees, are the only known way to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. As carbon dioxide levels continue to rise around the world, trees must become an increasingly important part of our everyday lives in order to sustain a healthy planet. The sooner we plant trees, the sooner and lower the impacts of rising CO2 levels will be felt by our children, our children's children, and so forth.
